Amber

Amber is a light-yellow, brownish or yellowish white, opaque or limpid fossil resin. This Baltic
mineral often contains inclusions of insects or plants from farmer times. Today it’s only used as lucky charm or a piece of jewellery.

The use

Amber had always been used as primitive decoration (e.g. rings, necklaces). Later in the Roman Empire, it was put into the coffin of dead people to ease their journey. Even the Vikings traded with amber and in the 17th century the Russian Tsar even had his own amber room. The fine powder, which can be produced, is said to be a remedy to keep if people have problems with their ears or eyes or a high temperature.

Gel Candles

Sure you know white, green, blue and red candles. How boring! But now, we offer you a very special kind: gel instead of wax.  Based on our landscape these candles look like a little shore. Inside, there is fine sand and other coast typical things, like mussels. You can light it like an ordinary candle or you use it to decorate your room.

Terracotta candles

These nice "Terracotta candles" create a romantic atmosphere, not only in cold winter evenings. After the candle is burning  down, these little pots, painted with coast typical motives, can be used as flower-pot or you just put a new candle in it.

Magic Heat

These little pocket warmers are very useful just now in the winter. By pressing the piece of metal inside the warmer, the liquid changes its condition. During this process the warmer generates heat (about 55°C) for nearly an hour. And so you can put in your gloves to warm your hands. Of course, you can use it as often as you want to. You only have to put the "Magic heats" into boiling water for a short time. After that they are "recharged". It is really very helpful to have a pocket warmer in such cold winter days.
